ASK MAUGHAM

I've been writing like a fiend on speed, adrenline and dark french roast. I finished the book (The Coffeehouse Diaries). It will be uop for awhile, then down as I get a publisher. For the few of you who read this blog, I am deeply grateful for your comments and encouragement. It has been fun to write these for you.

Writng, for me, is like pitching. The more I have done it (and as many of you know I do it across about 6 blogs)...really daily, the faster the ball goes and it really becomes fun. So while I am doing the marketing part I want to keep my hand in a bit, even if I'm just keeping the arm warmed up.

SOOOOOOO...you are all very bright. Would you submit some questions?????

You can ask on any subject, but if it is about me personally you may get a smart-ass answer equal to a love pat.

It can be something that has plagued you, or pissed you off, or you are just curious about.

It'll be fun!Posted by Picasa

what do you see as the positive traits of the following political parties:

libertarians
green peace
democrats
independants
republicans
socialists
constitutionalists
communists

feel free to add more parties, those are just the ones i came up with off the top of my head.

Maughanm,
Since you say you are an activist?

Who is in your opinion the activist that has influenced you and why?

(hope it isn't to late for the questions)

It's almost become cliche, but I'd have to say Bono. He has a way of cutting through the BS and getting tot he core. He also is able to lobby all parties internationally.

Yeah, i kinda shoulda known it was Bono. Seems to be the only activist you speak of.

I bet International leaders were given quite a surprise when they first met bono.
They were thinking that this 'rock star' was going to come and talk a bunch of 'ideas'.
What they got was a well educated man who has the audacity to be a rock star with a brain.
Bono also could hit the core of humanity and its arrogance to ignore a need which brought these leaders down to their knees, they realized they are human too.

I always applaud bono for understanding his responsibility of his status and choosing to use it for the betterment of others. He has a heart.

Thanks for answering the question
