water is one of the effing hardest things for me to paint!
I actually find ocean not so bad, probably because it is so grand. Lakewater or reflected water is very tough.
Do you do oils of acrylics?

acrylics . . . i have a fear of oils for some reason . . .
Tabs you have good reason to fear oils...they are quite toxic. But I like the way they mix.

maybe i'm too impatient for oils. they take forever to dry.
